‘Sisterhood’ is a reflection upon friendship and folly, envy and betrayal, jealousy and cruelty within much revered and idealised ‘spiritual’ women’s circles that loudly claim supremacy over the villainised male character, yet demonstrate just as much, however, pompously masqueraded, perfidy, duplicity, and cruelty towards their own. And just as oftentimes one may find shallowness and mere pretence behind the seemingly deep words and obfuscating ritualism of such communities, this piece is reducing a deep and complex socio-political and spiritual drama of the biblical Salome, to a banal story of entitlement and narcissism.

in my kitchen sink. and said he was
sorry — he had no crown for me.
