So far this is the only piece I made about Ukraine. I am not comfortable with the fashion of capitalising on hot traumas and newsfeed channelling, but this war is too close to home, and I have to process it somehow. Even though for most it’s out of social media’s sight thus out of their mind. This piece is the song to each and every Ukrainian, wee or old, male, female, even unborn in their mothers’ wombs, civilian, untrained, determined and fearless, who stood up to defend their motherland from the first morning of the War.
